Clouded Isle

Clouded Isle is a game I made with Unity, at Södertörns Högskola with a group of ten people (full credit in the end), split between programmers, designers, and graphical artists, during the second quarter of 2018.

My role in the project was primarily that of management, managing the graphical aspects of the game while handling communication between designers along with programmers and graphical artists. Similarly to that of a technical artist, but much more flexible as I stepped in where it was needed.

I modelled and textured the main character of the game, based on a concept provided by our concept artist. I also modelled and textured the friendly NPC’s, which was also based on existing concept art. Some of the environmental assets were also made by me, a few examples are the cave the player starts in and the tribal masks at the end, along with stairs and damaged walls. Secondly, implementation of the graphical assets and lighting in Unity was also done by me, along with building the levels in-engine in collaboration with the level designer.

A trailer was also made for the game during the post-production course, along with extensive game testing. Where I was the one that implemented the required assets in Unity, as well as animated the camera along with the characters static movement in space, according to an existing storyboard.
